Job summary

MacIntyre School & Children’s Homes in Wingrave is seeking a Therapy Assistant to join a multidisciplinary Therapy Team. You will help children and young people develop communication, independence, and quality of life, delivering direct therapy work alongside qualified therapists and coaching staff.

This role suits hands-on experience with complex needs, a passion for learning, and contributing to assessments, resource development and staff training within a supportive progression path.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
• A Levels or equivalent qualifications acceptable.
• Experience or qualification in therapeutic approaches is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy sessions or interventions under supervision.
• Collaborate with Therapy Team to embed programmes across education and care.
• Observe, record and contribute to therapeutic progress and reports.
• Develop resources and support staff in delivering therapy.
• Assist with induction and training of colleagues.
