Job summary

Academics Maidenhead is seeking a Therapy Support Assistant to join their inclusive school on a full-time basis starting ASAP. The role focuses on 1:1 support for pupils aged 4 to 16 with autism, helping them access learning through a therapeutic approach and providing training as needed.

You will work closely with therapists and classroom staff to implement strategies, monitor progress, and create a calm, positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vulnerable pupils and autism.
• Ability to support and implement therapeutic strategies in classroom settings.
• Willingness to learn and apply training provided by the school.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students in classroom settings.
• Assist with therapy interventions and daily routines.
• Support pupils with speech, communication and social-emotional needs.
