Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales invites HCPC registered therapy radiographers, or soon-to-qualify students, to join the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre in Rhyl. The post rotates through pre-treatment and treatment areas and is supported by a preceptorship and training programme, with hours 08:00 to 18:30.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience of Varian/Aria systems mentioned.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Therapeutic Radiographer is required.
• B.Sc. Hons Radiotherapy or equivalent.
• Experience in NHS radiotherapy departments is expected.
• Experience with Varian equipment and Aria software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a patient-focused radiotherapy service under supervision of senior radiographers.
• Deliver efficient and compliant radiotherapy treatments and identify improvements.
• Undertake a wide range of radiotherapy treatments across the department as trained.
• Work flexibly within 08:00–18:30 to cover service needs and participate in the on-call rota.
