Job summary

North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board invites HCPC registered therapy radiographers, or soon-to-qualify students, to join a friendly, patient‑focused team. You will rotate through pre‑treatment and treatment areas and be supported via a preceptorship and training programme, with excellent communication and organisational skills required.

The post involves flexible hours from 08:00 to 18:30 to meet service needs and participation in the on‑call rota.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered radiographer.
• B.Sc. Hons Radiotherapy or equivalent.
• Recent experience in a busy radiotherapy department.
• Experience with Varian equipment and Aria software.
• Experience in the NHS.
• Welsh language ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a patient-focused service of the highest quality under supervision.
• Contribute to delivering an efficient radiotherapy service and suggest improvements.
• Perform a range of radiotherapy treatments across the department, including out-of-hours emergencies as appropriate.
• Ensure high-quality treatments and compliance with regulations and policies.
