Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University is recruiting an Assistant Therapy Practitioner to join a busy ward in Radlett. You will provide occupational therapy and physiotherapy support under supervision, carrying out assessments and interventions while developing knowledge of occupational models and specialist tools.

You will manage your workload, document findings accurately, and participate in CPD and support meetings, contributing to student and junior staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group interventions for service users in a busy ward environment.
• Carry out occupationally based assessments and interventions under supervision of an OT and physiotherapist.
• Evaluate interventions and report back to the team, adjusting future plans accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with the therapy team and wider MDT.
• Develop knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation and other specialist assessments.
• Organise workload and maintain accurate, timely documentation of clinical notes.
• Attend and participate in ATP CPD and support meetings, including supervising students and junior staff.
