Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking to recruit a Band 2 Therapy Helper to join our diverse team of allied health professionals and support staff who work across a range of clinical specialties within an acute care setting.
The post holder will work alongside colleagues to support the administrative and clinical delivery of therapy across a range of clinical conditions, which present with varying degrees of complexity. As a Therapy Helper, you will provide administrative and clinical support essential to the efficiency of the Therapy service as well as assisting therapy staff with the treatment of patients who present within acute care to facilitate recovery, promote well-being and optimise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life.
We are seeking people who can adapt to changing environment and work well in a team. You will be expected to be an active member of the therapy and multi-disciplinary teams and strive to treat patients and colleagues with compassion, kindness and respect.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to complement our Therapy Service at Castle Hill hospital on Elective Orthopaedics, although there is a requirement to be able to work at any site and within any clinical area within the Trust.
We offer excellent in-service training and there is supervision in all clinical areas; personal development is a high priority and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to developing new skills.
