We are looking for an organised, reliable and approachable Therapy Helper to join our Dietetics team at Hull Royal Infirmary.

This is a Band 2, part-time post working 15 hours per week. The role will mainly provide practical, administrative and logistical support to home enteral feeding services, with flexibility to support other areas of the Dietetics service according to operational need.

Working under the direction of registered dietitians and designated senior staff, you will help the team deliver safe, timely and efficient patient care. Duties will include supporting the ordering and distribution of enteral feeding products and equipment, maintaining accurate records, preparing paperwork and equipment, communicating with patients, carers, suppliers and colleagues, and undertaking general departmental duties.

You do not need to have previous Dietetics experience, but you should have good administrative and IT skills, communicate clearly and courteously, and be able to follow agreed procedures accurately. Full training and competency assessment will be provided for the duties undertaken.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, practical work and would like to contribute to a busy and supportive NHS Dietetics service.

About us

The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.

Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.

Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital, for NLAG and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.

As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas - biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
