Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join the Critical Care, Respiratory or Surgery Therapy Team at Royal Liverpool Hospital. You will manage your own caseload, provide direct therapy interventions, and work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dietitians and assistants.

The role offers full-time hours with flexibility for part-time or flexible patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' therapy experience in a health care setting.
• Knowledge of respiratory and/or surgical care is desirable.
• Ability to manage own caseload under supervision of a registered therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Support recovery and maximise independence for patients, including those in critical care step-down.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate progress.
• Contribute to training, audits and service development.
