Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to support adults recovering after vascular surgery. You will work within the Wirral Limb Centre service as part of a multidisciplinary team, carrying out a range of clinical, clerical, administrational and housekeeping tasks to keep the service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting therapy staff and following delegated plans.
• Must have access to a car for work.
• Willingness to perform clerical, admin and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively within the therapy team.
• Establish rapport with patients to support exercise programmes.
• Support Therapists in delivering patient‑focused care.
• Organise and prioritise workload under guidance.
• Prepare environment and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Assist in home visits and range of activities of daily living.
• Order new equipment and perform checks.
