As a Therapy Assistant, you will join the Badby Park team part-time in Daventry and provide therapeutic and rehabilitation pathways for individuals affected by neurological or mental health conditions. Your role will involve assisting and delivering planned therapy programs alongside professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, SALT, and Dietitians. You will support service users, helping them achieve their recovery goals by preparing and assisting with individual and group therapeutic activities. Additionally, you will conduct therapeutic interventions and work to create one-on-one rapports with service users to increase engagement and promote recovery. Under supervision, you will adjust plans according to service users' changing needs and abilities. Responsibilities also include undertaking basic procedures as instructed by qualified therapists, maintaining effective communication, and ensuring documentation is accurate.
