Job description

We are looking for a Therapy Assistant to join our community stroke and neuro team based at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby.

This team works with a range of community patients with neurological diagnoses, providing care in patients' homes, community clinics, and care homes. You will be involved in the acute rehabilitation of patients, ensuring they achieve their goals and regain independence, mobility, and function.

NLAG is part of one of the largest NHS groups, serving over one million patients annually with a budget of over £1.3 billion. Comprising two trusts—Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH)—our group is dedicated to delivering world-class hospital and community services for 1.65 million people.

We employ nearly 20,000 staff across five main hospital sites: Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital; Scunthorpe General Hospital; Goole and District Hospital; Hull Royal Infirmary; and Castle Hill Hospital. As teaching hospitals affiliated with Hull York Medical School, we lead and contribute to research in biomedical fields, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery, and oncology.

We are committed to developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled, and caring workforce to provide excellent patient care and foster a positive future for our employees, partnership, and community.
