IBC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for an adult with learning disabilities in Droylsden West. The role focuses on therapeutic, person-centred care to promote routine, confidence, and independence in home and community settings.

You will work within a PBS framework, following an individualised plan to support daily routines, community access, decision-making, and skills development while ensuring dignity and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or behaviours of concern.
• Understanding of PBS and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong de-escalation, communication and observation skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver person-centred, therapeutic support tailored to individual needs, preferences and goals.
• Promote independence and meaningful choice in daily life.
• Support with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Support medication administration in line with policy.
• Assist with daily living tasks to build skills and confidence.
