Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is partnering with a local council to recruit a permanent Residential Support Worker for a specialist children's home in Dartington. You will support children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and physical disabilities, helping them access activities and medical appointments.

A valid driving license is required to transport residents on trips. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work mornings, evenings,

Qualifications

• Residence and right to work in the UK are required.

• Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep-over shifts.

Responsibilities

The children's home is based in Dartington, commutable from Newton Abbott (less than 30mins) and you must be a driver due to the demands of the role which includes taking the young people on trips and to medical appointments.
