Chase Medical is seeking a Registered Manager for a 3-bed EBD home in Manchester (Central). You will provide operational leadership, ensure a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment, and drive outcomes in education, health, and wellbeing.

The role requires Level 5 Leadership Diploma, Ofsted registration, and at least two years’ leadership experience in children’s residential care. Strong safeguarding and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete)
• Willingness to register with Ofsted
• Minimum two years' experience in children's residential care within the past five years
• Minimum one year's leadership/supervisory experience in a care setting
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and safer recruitment understanding
• Experience managing Ofsted compliance and inspections
• Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• IT proficiency (Microsoft packages)
• GCSE in English and Maths
• Full UK driving licence

• Lead and manage the 3-bed EBD residential home in line with Ofsted and regulations
• Create a warm, therapeutic environment tailored to the child
• Ensure high-quality care planning and positive behavioural support
• Drive outcomes in education, health, and emotional wellbeing
• Oversee safeguarding and safer recruitment processes
• Manage and develop the staff team through supervision and coaching
• Maintain rotas and communication systems
• Manage budgets and resources
• Develop and implement service improvement plans
• Collaborate with external professionals, schools, and families
