Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking an Assistant Refuge Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to individuals affected by domestic abuse in Conwy/Denbighshire. The role is full-time and based on-site, with an enhanced DBS check required.

You will assist in developing tailored support plans, deliver face-to-face and telephone support, and empower clients to understand and recover from abuse. The position closes on 2 October 2026.

Qualifications

• To gain skills and qualifications to provide practical and emotional support to individuals experiencing domestic abuse.
• To develop individual support plans addressing risk of harm, offering information, advocacy and signposting on a risk and needs led basis.
• Empower the client and help them recognise dynamics of domestic abuse and support recovery and regain control of their lives.

Responsibilities
