Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Ammanford is seeking a compassionate and resilient Male Domestic Abuse Support Worker to provide trauma‑informed support to male survivors of domestic abuse across accommodation and community services. This 28‑hour per week role runs Monday to Friday and offers £13.46 per hour.

You will complete risk and needs assessments, develop support plans, help clients access housing, benefits, healthcare and other services, and work with partner agencies to achieve

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or families.
• Understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding.
• Strong communication, advocacy and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Welsh language skills (desirable).

Responsibilities
