Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applicants to a 36-month Therapeutic Radiographer Apprenticeship in London. You will train in the Radiotherapy Department while studying for a Level 6 BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography with the University of Hertfordshire and aim for HCPC registration.

The role combines hands-on clinical experience in CT simulation, treatment planning, delivery and image-guided radiotherapy with academic study, supported by NHS learning resources

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (A-C/4-9) or equivalent.
• 3 A levels or Level 3 science-based qualification (physics/biology/chemistry).
• Willingness to undertake radiographer degree apprenticeship to gain HCPC registration.
• Must meet English language requirements (IELTS if non-native).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital ICT systems.

Responsibilities

• Train and work within the Radiotherapy department, gaining clinical experience across CT simulation, treatment planning, delivery and image-guided radiotherapy.
• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
• Complete the Level 6 BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography Degree Apprenticeship with the University of Hertfordshire.
• Aim to achieve HCPC registration upon completion of the programme.
