Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offering a unique 36-month Therapeutic Radiographer Apprenticeship in central London. You will train with the Radiotherapy Department, studying the Level 6 BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography Degree Apprenticeship with the University of Hertfordshire and work closely with multidisciplinary teams.

The programme combines extensive workplace learning with academic study, leading to HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at A-C/4-9 or Functional Skills at Level 2
• Must not hold Level 6 or higher qualification in Therapeutic Radiography or related field
• Must not be in any other form of education (no school/college/university/other apprenticeships)

Responsibilities

• Gain clinical experience across the radiotherapy pathway: CT simulation, treatment planning and delivery
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, physics and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver safe, compassionate radiotherapy care and progress to HCPC registration
