Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Macclesfield invites an enthusiastic Therapy Radiographer (Band 5) to join our cancer centre. The post is rotational and you will work across treatment and pre-treatment areas at Christie sites, delivering radiotherapy with state-of-the-art equipment.

HCPC registered or due to qualify this year is required. You will contribute to patient care, safety, and continuous service development within a leading NHS cancer centre.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Therapy Radiographer is required.
• Band 5 level, with ongoing professional development.
• Experience in radiotherapy and pre-treatment areas preferred.
• Willingness to rotate across Christie sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate radiotherapy in line with treatment plans.
• Rotate across treatment and pre-treatment sections.
• Operate radiotherapy and imaging equipment and report faults.
• Perform dose calculations and verify prescriptions.
• Position patients and maintain treatment records.
• Comply with IR(ME)R and local regulations.
• Provide compassionate patient and family support.
