Rae House in West Aberdeenshire seeks a dedicated Night Care Worker to join our therapeutic community. You will organise and run the evening Therapeutic Community programme, coordinate residents’ tasks, provide waking night cover, and monitor and administer medication in a 27-bed residential rehab setting.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds; previous experience is desirable but not essential. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, on a rolling rota including weekends.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals within drug and alcohol recovery.
• Understanding of working with families, and individuals in the substance use sector or related field.
• The ability to be innovative and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.
• Be able to work effectively with multi-agencies, whilst maintaining the excellent reputation of the service.
• Knowledge of adult protection is essential as you will be working with vulnerable adults in a residential setting.

Responsabilités

• Organise and facilitate the evening running of the Therapeutic Community programme at Rae House Residential Service.
• Co-ordinate the users of our service tasks and activities and provide waking night cover.
• Monitor and administer medication to users of our service.
• Assist residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities.
