Job summary

Northampton International Academy within East Midlands Academy Trust is opening a new ARP for up to 30 students with Emotionally Based School Avoidance, Anxiety and/or ASC. The Inclusion Support Practitioner (Therapeutic) will support social, academic and clinical needs as the cohort joins in September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with EBSA, anxiety and ASD/ASC conditions.
• Ability to work directly with individuals and small groups.
• Willingness to collaborate with external practitioners and ARP staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to pupils with EBSA, anxiety, and ASD.
• Deliver one-to-one or small group therapeutic interventions.
• Support teaching staff and external clinical teams in classrooms and therapy sessions.
• Partner with parents, carers and external practitioners to remove barriers to education.
• Assist with integration into the ARP and promote pupil well-being.
