Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council’s Children, Education and Families Directorate is seeking a Psychological Family Practitioner to support parents and families during reunification, within a multidisciplinary Clinical Team led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic, relationship-based support to families at a crucial point in their lives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Trauma-informed, systemic approach to family work.
• Ability to work collaboratively with social workers and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support parents and families through the reunification pathway.
• Conduct home visits and provide therapeutic, relationship-based support.
• Work with children and families to strengthen relationships and routines.
