Job summary

Phoenix Futures seeks a Therapeutic Worker for Rae House, a residential rehabilitation service in the UK, to support recovery pathways and community-based care. You will oversee caseloads, assess residents, and implement therapeutic approaches spanning employment, education, health, and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the complex issues faced by individuals in drug and alcohol recovery.
• Ability to work with multi-agencies and maintain service reputation.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the TC model and needs of residents.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach to care.
• Knowledge of adult protection is essential in residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and assess residents to develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate from referral through to discharge, ensuring integrated care.
• Deliver therapeutic groups, activities and interventions per TC manual.
• Support day-to-day running of the therapeutic community and meet residents' needs.
• Work a rolling rota including evenings and weekends.
