Job summary

Homes2Inspire is looking for a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our Alvaston home in Derbyshire. You will build trusted relationships, provide daily care and emotional support, and help children develop independence and life skills in a nurturing, trauma-informed setting.

Role requires resilience, strong communication, and flexibility to work shifts including sleep-ins. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is expected, with full UK driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare principles.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support.

• Support access to education, activities, and community opportunities.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
