Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Male Children’s Residential Support Worker for a full-time role in Chalfont Saint Peter, Buckinghamshire. The position offers 39 hours per week with a salary of £31,493 to £34,495 per annum, inclusive of sleep-ins.

You will provide safe, therapeutic care in a regulated children’s home setting. The ideal candidate is caring, flexible and resilient with strong communication skills, and holds a full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• Caring, flexible and resilient with excellent communication.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted/CIW standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored therapeutic care and emotional support to children and young people.
• Act as a positive role model to foster independence and life skills.
• Organise and support developmental activities to encourage growth.
• Build trusting relationships and provide consistent, nurturing support.
• Support children through challenging situations while upholding safeguarding standards.
