Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking compassionate individuals for Hillside Secure Centre to work with children in a therapeutic, residential setting. The role requires flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people, preferably within a residential setting.
• Post holder to perform shift work including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays on a rota.
• Commitment to safeguarding and safe recruitment practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the effective running of the Home and work with young people to enable positive change in behaviour and attitude.
• Support young people to cope better with life within a structured, therapeutic environment.
• Work as part of a team to meet the needs of children and ensure safety and wellbeing.
