The role of Activities & Rehabilitation Support Worker focuses on promoting self-esteem, social interaction, and daily living skills, with full training and clear pathways into leadership and clinical roles within Priory.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload within set procedures and care requirements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior staff and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a wide range of tailored activities and structured programmes to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Facilitate both individual and group activities that encourage participation, engagement, and social interaction.
• Take part in wider site-based and home programmes, as agreed with your line manager.
• Observe, record, and report service user participation and progress in activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including healthcare documentation and computerised systems.
• Use a creative approach to design engaging and purposeful activity sessions.
• Liaise with external educational, vocational, and leisure providers to expand opportunities for service users.
• Contribute positively to service development by suggesting improvements and new ideas.
• Promote the service in a professional and positive manner at all time
