Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a materials management or theatre stores team.
• Ability to lead stock replenishment and service delivery in clinical environments.
• Strong communication with clinical and operational colleagues.
• Proven problem-solving and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a customer-facing Materials Management team.
• Lead ordering activities and maintain theatre materials systems.
• Replenish stock using barcode systems and manage expiry dates.
• Receive, check, store and distribute goods in a safe, clean environment.
• Monitor stores standards and housekeeping in stock locations.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and process returns/credits.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with clinical leads to improve efficiency and value for money.
• Support staff development, coaching and performance management.
• Act as a Super User for Materials Management systems and support new implementations.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and procurement regulations.
