Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Stock & Equipment Controller to manage stock and equipment for the Surgical Centre and to order items for clinical use.

The role collaborates across disciplines with theatre teams and management, requiring strong communication and the ability to manage workload in a busy environment. NHS understanding is advantageous for success.

Competenze

• Experience in stock or equipment management within a NHS/clinical setting.
• Understanding of NHS procurement processes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Mansioni

• Using the Trust procurement systems i.e. Integra and NHS Supply Chain to order stock items.
• Carrying out stock management tasks, i.e. stock location, reordering, stock put away and housekeeping within the relevant areas.
• Communication at all levels within the job role is vital in relation to the requirements of the various teams.
• Working closely with the Procurement teams to establish alternative products where the standard item is not available.
• Working proactively to ensure that stock levels are suitable for the needs of the service, and escalating any concerns to Senior Management.
• Managing the sterile instrument sets used within the theatre environment.
