Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC or HCPC.
• Ability to plan equipment needs for theatre cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
• Customer service skills and professional demeanour.
• Competent with computer systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized patient care in the theatre.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and the theatre team.
• Support theatre staff as a scrub nurse/ODP in orthopaedics and general surgery.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are prepared, sterile and ready for procedures.
