Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized patient care in the theatre.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and the theatre team.
• Support theatre staff as a scrub nurse/ODP in orthopaedics and general surgery.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are prepared, sterile and ready for procedures.

Theatre Scrub Nurse - Orthopaedics/General Surgery

The role: We have an opportunity for a Theatre Nurse/ODP to join our Theatre team at Duchy Hospital, Truro, Cornwall. We invite candidates to provide high-quality, individualized patient care. Strong communication and exceptional customer service standards are essential. Our theatres are staffed per AFPP Guidance for safe practice. We seek an experienced scrub nurse, preferably in orthopaedics, but those with laparoscopic, general surgery, or ophthalmic experience are also welcome.
