North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is offering a fixed-term theatre post based at West Cumberland Hospital. The role involves intra-operative care, scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures, with potential to work across Carlisle and Whitehaven sites.

Open to experienced operating department practitioners and newly qualified nurses or ODPs; visa eligibility should be checked before applying.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NMC or HCPC (Registered General Nurse or ODP)
• Commitment to complete a mentorship module after preceptorship
• Experience in managing and coordinating a team advisable

Responsabilités

• Provide intra-operative care for patients undergoing surgery.
• Scrub and circulate for surgical procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with the MDT.
• Demonstrate compassionate values and dignified care
