Job summary

The Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join their theatre team on a bank basis. This role supports scrub and anaesthetics tasks, with duties across instrument preparation, sterility, patient monitoring and post-op care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) with theatre experience.
• Experience in scrub, anaesthetics or recovery.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy theatre.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, maintain sterility and support the surgeon and anaesthetist.
• Assist with patient monitoring, airway management and positioning.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor vital signs and pain.
• Adhere to infection control policies at all times.
• Set up theatres per surgery type and patient needs.
• Report faults in equipment and support safe surgical lists.
