Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is assisting a leading Acute Hospital in Central London to recruit a Theatre Practitioner specialising in Theatre Robotics within Urology. The role is full-time and permanent, based in Travelcard Zone 1, with easy access to TfL and National Rail.

The successful candidate will provide expert robotic theatre knowledge, lead robotic initiatives in urology and contribute to future developments across specialties, while supporting junior staff in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• RGN or ODP with NMC/HCPC registration as applicable.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a senior theatre role.
• Experience working in Robotic Surgery.
• Completion of a supervisory/management qualification.
• Aptitude for analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Experience in supporting junior practitioners, and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist theatre robotic knowledge and skills in Urology.
• Lead in Theatre Robotics initiatives and projects.
• Support junior practitioners and students in the theatre.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise robotic procedures.

Job description

Applications are invited from suitably experienced Theatre Practitioners to lead in Theatre Robotics at our client’s Acute Hospital site based inCentral London (Travelcard Zone 1). This role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services.
You will provide specialist theatre robotic knowledge and skills in Urology, with expected future development in other specialties.
This role is a full-time, permanent post

An established charity-status centre of excellence for over 160 years, the Hospital has 60 inpatient beds, including a state of the art six-suite Operating Theatre complex and separate Endoscopy Theatre.The Hospital also has a dedicated Urgent Care Centre and extensive Imaging and Diagnostic service and Therapies and Rehabilitation clinic.

Person requirements

• RGN or ODP with NMC/HCPC registration as applicable
• At least two years’ experience in a senior theatre role
• Experience working in Robotic Surgery
