Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Operating Department Practitioner or Anaesthetic Nurse for permanent full-time work across our theatres at Southend and other sites. The role includes on-call commitments and weekend/night work. Salary is £32,073 per annum (pro rata for part-time).

Qualifications

• Registered Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse with anaesthetic course.
• Experience in operating department including paediatrics during training.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment during training.
• Committed to own and others personal and professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provide high quality patient care within the perioperative setting.
• Training can be provided for newly registered practitioners.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate holistic, high quality care respecting patient dignity and beliefs.
