Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading is seeking a Band 5 Theatre Practitioner (General Theatres). You will be a scrub practitioner supporting a busy general and emergency theatre, delivering high‑quality patient care.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, prepare operating theatres, manage equipment and supplies, and take part in an education strategy to develop your skills. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants; the post offers a competitive NHS Band 5

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Theatre Practitioner or relevant clinical experience.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to prepare operating theatres, including equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal resource management.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care for patients.
• Right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visa sponsorship.
