Job summary

Circle Health Group's Huddersfield Private Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join the Theatres team on a bank, as-and-when-required basis. You will supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for annual leave or absence.

The role offers an hourly rate up to £23, depending on experience and qualifications. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (NMC) or an HCPC-registered Operating Department Practitioner and have theatre experience in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or HCPC-registered ODP with theatre experience.
• Experience or training in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.
• Knowledge of infection control, manual handling and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, maintain sterility, anticipate surgeon needs, support anaesthetist, and care for patient post-operatively.
• Monitor vitals, manage pain and nausea, ensure discharge readiness.
