Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join our bank pool in Scrub and Anaesthetics. This role supports Consultants during procedures and offers autonomous practice within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, supervise junior staff, and help ensure safe anaesthesia administration and patient care. Bank shifts provide ad‑hoc hours to fit business needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Theatre Nurse or ODP with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Post-registration orthopaedic scrub experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Consultants during procedures with scrub and anaesthetic care.
• Supervise, support and develop junior staff within the theatre team.
• Deliver high quality, evidence-based patient care and maintain sterile operating environments.
