Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a bank Theatre Porter to join the theatre department. The role involves moving patients to and from rooms before and after surgery, and keeping theatre equipment and surroundings clean and functional.

Shifts are ad-hoc with no fixed weekly hours; the work is physical and fast-moving. DBS checks are required. You will work as part of a close-knit team in a busy clinical setting with emphasis on patient care and safety.

• Good communication skills to help patients feel relaxed and reassured.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks.
• Comfortable with physical work such as pushing beds and lifting heavy equipment.
