Qualifications

• Ability to act as part of a team.

• IELTS (7.5 with 7.0 in each module) or OET Grade 'B' Overall for Overseas AHP Professionals.
• HCPC Registration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Theatre and anaesthetic division across clinical specialties as required and following training.
• Provide support to other specialist areas within the division including anaesthetics, recovery, day surgery ward, surgical reception, pre-assessment and pain management.
• Check, witness and administer controlled drugs.
• Demonstrate safe use of medical devices and equipment.
• Assist in teaching and supervision of learners entering operating theatres including nursing, ODP trainees, medical students and apprentices.
• Report clinical issues to the Theatre coordinator and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
