A leading NHS Trust is seeking a Theatre Coordinator to manage clinical areas, ensuring high standards of patient care and team leadership. The role involves fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional development among staff while maintaining efficient theatre operations.
Continuing 24-hour responsibility for the management of a clinical area including the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care, and the setting of standards.
Establish a clear focus and direction for the team, ensuring staff understand their roles and are supported to fulfill them.
Create a working environment that encourages flexible, innovative, and creative practices within the team, including working flexibly to maximize theatre utilization.
Keep abreast of professional issues and current research-based practice, ensuring these are reflected in practice by all staff.
Adopt a high-profile clinical leadership approach and proactively review, implement, and evaluate local and national policies affecting care delivery.
Ensure all activities comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct & HPC Code of Conduct, reflecting a professional attitude and appearance.
Provide authoritative and credible knowledge and advice as required.
