Job summary

Qualifications

• Evidence of CPD in relevant specialty
• Level 6/7 studies completed or in progress
• Teaching qualification desirable
• Mentor for preregistration students or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operating theatre or designated area.
• Develop and implement care programmes for theatre patients.
• Contribute to policy development and standard setting.
• Support and develop the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders/Managers to improve patient pathways.
