Job summary

NHS Jobs in Chertsey is seeking an Assistant Theatre Practitioner / HCSW to support the theatre team under supervision and help deliver safe patient care in the Theatre complex.

You will assist with moving and handling, use appropriate aids, support cleaning, maintain IPC standards, and help with documentation including ICP and WHO checklists. Qualifications

• Assist with safe patient care in Theatre complex and follow supervision guidelines.
• Maintain IPC guidelines and WHO checklists where applicable.
• Utilise moving and handling aids to reduce injury risk.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and handling and collection of patients.
• Keep theatre and storerooms clean and tidy per guidelines.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately including ICP and Surrey Safe Care tracking.
• Support ward areas during staff shortages after upskilling program.
