Job summary

The Portland Hospital in London is seeking an Anaesthetics Practitioner to join our Theatre team. We welcome experienced Anaesthetic Practitioners and newly qualified ODPs to deliver anaesthetic care across paediatric, maternity and adult services in a private hospital focused on women and children.

Working across paediatric ENT, urology, cardiac, spinal and more, you’ll gain specialist exposure, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team and ongoing learning opportunities, with accommodation

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an ODP or eligible for HCPC registration.
• NMC registration with a completed Anaesthetic Course.
• Experience in anaesthetic theatre or placements during training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high quality anaesthetic care across paediatric, maternity and adult procedures.
• Prepare, check and maintain anaesthetic equipment, drugs and theatre environments.
• Support anaesthetists during procedures and work with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in on-call and standby rota, including maternity emergencies.
• Contribute to learning, patient safety and clinical excellence.
