Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is currently recruiting a Theatre Administrator to provide essential administrative support within the Theatre department in Glasgow. The role focuses on accurate record keeping, billing processing, and effective liaison with surgical teams.

You will handle queries, manage theatre list orders, take minutes at team meetings, and ensure smooth daily operations while using Microsoft Office and maintaining strong communication with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required.
• Handle queries within the remit of own role and upscale more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.
• Be point of contact for any visitors to Theatre department.
• Deal appropriately with phone calls into the department.
• Amend/changes to theatre list orders.
• Scan and archive documents.
• Attend and minute take the Theatre team meetings.
• Strong IT and keyboard skills to work.
• Processing billing.
• Ordering.
• Creating monthly department newsletter.

Up to £25,545 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week
