Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer in Milton Keynes. This hands-on, field-based role offers autonomy, a defined region, and long‑term stability servicing a fleet of specialist machinery.

You will work independently, conduct servicing at customer sites, perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs, manage parts and service reports, and coordinate with the service desk to meet planned maintenance schedules. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience within plant, forklift, powered access, agricultural, HGV or similar engineering environments.
• Strong mechanical skills, basic electrical fault‑finding ability and a full UK driving licence
• Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in a customer‑facing field role

Are you a hands‑on Engineer looking for a field‑based role with autonomy, variety and long‑term stability?

This is a great opportunity to join a market‑leading equipment hire business, carrying out planned servicing and maintenance on a fleet of specialist machinery across your region. You'll work independently, manage your own schedule and play a key role in keeping equipment safe, reliable and ready for hire.
