Job summary

DVSC is seeking a Community Wellbeing Officer for Dementia Aware Conwy on a fixed-term basis funded by the Regional Integration Fund. The role focuses on improving dementia awareness, supporting community-led initiatives and building partnerships with voluntary and public sector partners in Conwy (and Denbighshire as needed).

The post requires a commitment to wellbeing for people affected by dementia, experience delivering services, and strong communication.

Hours: 30 Hours a Week
Salary: £30,363.06 Salary per annum (pro rata) plus 8% pension contribution [ACTUAL SALARY: £24,290.45 per annum]

The Community Wellbeing Officer: Dementia Aware Conwy

Fixed term until 31/03/2027 (subject to continued funding) funded by Regional Integration Fund. The role will work alongside communities, voluntary organisations, businesses and public sector partners to help make Conwy a more dementia-aware county. In addition to support activities in Denbighshire where necessary.

The role will empower local people to develop sustainable community-led initiatives, strengthen partnerships, improve awareness of dementia and connect people with the support they need.
