Bracknell Forest Council is seeking a senior strategic planner to lead the Thames Valley strategic planning process. You will turn complex evidence and bold ideas into a compelling spatial strategy, linking housing growth with infrastructure, climate resilience and nature improvements.

The role is based at Time Square, Bracknell, with travel across the Thames Valley and hybrid working opportunities. This permanent position requires RTPI membership and strong policy-writing and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Accomplished strategic planner with credibility, imagination, and excellent communication.
• Excellent policy-writing and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of national planning policy and RTPI membership.
