Job summary

Herbert Parkinson, part of the John Lewis Partnership, is seeking a product development professional to take products from concept to production within our textile manufacturing operations in Darwen, Lancashire.

You will create robust SOPs, collaborate with the Product Manager and production partners, and help upskill Partners while delivering high-quality, scalable manufacturing specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in textile manufacturing and product development lifecycle.
• Ability to create clear product specifications and SOPs.
• Strong presentation and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the development and implementation of products into manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production partners to prototype new products.
• Create robust SOPs and hand over to Operations and Commercial teams.
• Upskill Partners and support the training school initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to define scalable manufacturing specs.
