Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Testing Group Leader at our Charnwood/Loughborough site. You will oversee Software Testing Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring testing deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.

You will implement formal testing methodologies, drive improvements in tools and processes, and support the team in defining testing strategies and risk assessments within a regulated SDLC. You will lead resource scheduling, report project status, and handle issues while maintaining

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Computer Science or related field, or extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong technical background in software and OO systems development and testing.
• Knowledge of GxP regulatory requirements.
• Experience testing web-based, interactive voice response, and client-server projects.
• Familiarity with change management tools (Azure DevOps or TFS).
• Ability to define testing strategies and quality risk assessments.
• Knowledge of supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Software Testing Analysts and Senior Software Testing Analysts; supervise and mentor.
• Oversee resource scheduling, monitor and report project status.
• Ensure test deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Implement formal testing methodologies and drive tool/process improvements.
• Support team in defining testing strategies and quality risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with the SDLC and testing team processes.
• Perform Senior Analyst responsibilities as required on project work.
